On March 14th, the Lynita portrait was presented at an unveiling party. The event took place at Lynita’s home in Pleasant Grove and the night began with about a half an hour of mingling and appetizers. Thanks again to Megan for providing the outstanding food. Thanks also to Nancy W. for the impromptu sushi. Just before the actual unveiling, Megan and I both gave a few words. These portrait unveilings are an ideal setting for discussing the tremendous value of original artwork and the timeless tradition of portraiture. Without a doubt, the best way to view artwork is in person–face-to-face.No matter how much effort is put into reproducing and printing an accurate copy, there is nothing that compares to viewing a piece of original artwork with the human eye.
